About Cricket Grounds: Minefield

Cricket Grounds: Minefield is a free sports geography game: a blank map with no borders or labels, and 18 cricket grounds to pin from memory. Sudden death across Britain. Pin England's cricket grounds on a blank map โ€” one bad guess ends it. How far can you get?

This is the sudden-death minefield version: one pin outside the 35-mile tolerance ends the run, and the count you bank before that is your streak. The board is rated Insane, and one miss ends it.

The targets you will be asked to place are listed below. Where they actually sit stays hidden, because dropping the pin is the game.

How to play

  1. Each round names one ground. Study the blank map; there are no outlines to lean on.
  2. Tap or click where you believe it sits. Closer pins score better.
  3. One pin outside the tolerance ends the run. Bank as many as you can.
  4. Share your final map and challenge a friend to beat your pins.
