About Grid: Defensive Monsters

Grid: Defensive Monsters is a free NFL grid: a 3x3 board where every square sits at the crossing of a row clue and a column clue, and you must name an NFL player who satisfies both. Name the defenders and legends who changed games from the other side of the ball.

You get 9 guesses, one per square, and no answer can be used twice. Common picks fill the square; rare, deep-cut picks earn extra style points. This board is rated Hard, and survive the pass rush.

The row and column clues are listed below so you can plan your board before you open it. The answers stay hidden until you play.

How to play

  1. Open the board and pick any square: it must match both its row clue and its column clue.
  2. Type a name; matching is forgiving about accents, punctuation, and common aliases.
