Grid: MLB MVP Decades

Three MVP decades, two leagues and one repeat-winner twist. Career totals stop after the 2024 season.

How it works

  1. 1. Tap a square. Each one sits where a row clue meets a column clue.
  2. 2. Name an MLB player who satisfies both clues.
  3. 3. You get 9 guesses in total. Miss a square? Take another swing at it. Every miss is tracked, and no player can be used twice.

How this award grid works

A decade is determined by the season attached to the MVP award, not the date of the ceremony or a player's debut. Only the regular-season American League and National League MVP awards count. World Series and All-Star Game MVPs do not.

The repeat-winner column requires an MVP award during the row's decade and at least two AL or NL season MVP awards over the player's career through 2024. The second award can come in another decade or the other league. It is still one person, so do not reuse him elsewhere on the board.
